Budapest is the host to KPMG Global Services Hungary, KPMG’s international compliance services center, which offers VAT compliance and Accounting solutions, and multicultural compliance professionals, who can provide coverage in more than 40 countries with relevant language and technical skills. 

 Key responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end Client Onboarding to enable efficient and effective delivery for the satisfaction of clients and KPMG Member Firms
  • Leader and figurehead for a team of 20+ highly skilled professionals
  • Overall responsibility and accountability for all transitions
  • Key decision maker and define priorities for transitions
  • Participate at negotiations and Request for Proposals with clients/targets and KPMG Member Firms on an as needed basis, as transition subject matter expert/solution architect
  • Develop processes to monitor and control the transition budget per engagement
  • Define KPIs and ensure targets are met for the transition department

  • Vocational, College or University Degree in economics or 10+ years of relevant work experience
  • Project Management and Change Management experience
  • A minimum of 8+ years of experience in global managed services (tax compliance in particular) at a BPO/shared services center/advisory firm or service provider
  • Other relevant work experience, i.e. industry background (global/regional leader role of an in-house tax team at a multinational) may also be considered further
  • Fluent English (excellent oral and written communication skills)
  • Open to travel on short term (1-2 days) business trips to attend meetings at Lead offices or client sites
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Target and solution driven with customer focus
  • Proven track record of execution excellence, i.e. the ability to deliver
